Violini a Due: A European Journey

Quicksilver brings together some of North America’s most acclaimed Early Music instrumentalists to explore the rich chamber music repertoire of Baroque period Europe. Join them in a virtual performance for a dazzling musical tour spanning the 17th century—from the birth of the virtuoso violin in northern Italy through its rich development in the courts of Germany—featuring extraordinary sonatas by Castello, Rosenmüller, Legrenzi, and Fontana, among others.

On Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 9:30pm EST, we will hold a Post-Concert Q&A Session with Quicksilver performers Robert Mealy, Julie Andrijeski, and Avi Stein, moderated by Boston Early Music Festival’s Executive Director Kathy Fay, live on Zoom and YouTube.

RKCP extends its gratitude to its presenting partners Boston Early Music Festival and The Morgan Library.
